Based on research of reliability of predictors of sustainability, the 2007 Environmental Integrity indicators of “Land for Urban” and “Average Commute Time” have been replaced with “Urban Sprawl” and “Ozone.” In addition, refinements in data presentation -- such as calculating "per capita" numbers -- and improvements in rubric scoring were also added to this year's report.
